Practical tips for science journalists

Which tools a science journalist can use for everyday work on a low-budget? Either it’s about writing notes or turning our phone into a nearly professional camera for interviews, this session proposed answers for everything. Regarding note-taking we heard about the benefits of Evernotewith which you can take, store and manage notes very simply. It can also be connected to Google Drive, as we heard Evernote is a must in every science journalist’s life. The panelists (Steve Connor, Geoffrey Lean, Tim Radford, Viola Egikova, Louise Gray, Ben Jackson) told that Pocket, Soundnote, Trint, Sciencepad and NOOWIT could all be used very well if you are a science journalist.
