Krisztina

SIPOS

Krisztina is the youngest member of the team: she hasn’t started her university studies yet, she pursues her secondary studies at the ELTE Apáczai Csere János Practical School.

Despites her young age, Krisztina already shows a great interest in science and public outreach. She has already participated in a project about “Premature Babies and Their Respiratory Problems” at the Newborn Ambulance Station in Budapest.

She took part successfully in several debate competitions: for instance, she was a member of the winning team both at the International Debate Competition in Transylvania in 2013 and the one winning a debate competition organised by Amnesty International on human rights in 2015.

In her secondary school, she is a personal tutor and debate mentor, in addition to her editorial and marketing manager activities she fulfills at the school’s newspaper.

She spent a high school year in the Pompano Beach High School in Florida, USA and became fluent in English, but she speaks German as well.

She is deeply involved in charity: she is a member of several non-profit organisations and volunteers on a regular basis at various charity events.

WHAT BRINGS HER

TO ESOF 2016?

"I hope, ESOF encourages me to consider different perspectives and solutions to become more open on my chosen topic, because this a big platform for the exchange of  information.

This forum is particularly useful to share ideas and build connections through which future research collaborations can be developed.”
