Krisztina

SIPOS

Krisztina is the youngest member of the team: she hasn’t started her university studies yet, she pursues her secondary studies at the ELTE Apáczai Csere János Practical School.

 

Despites her young age, Krisztina already shows a great interest in science and public outreach. She has already participated in a project about “Premature Babies and Their Respiratory Problems” at the Newborn Ambulance Station in Budapest.

 

She took part successfully in several debate competitions: for instance, she was a member of the winning team both at the International Debate Competition in Transylvania in 2013 and the one winning a debate competition organised by Amnesty International on human rights in 2015.

 

In her secondary school, she is a personal tutor and debate mentor, in addition to her editorial and marketing manager activities she fulfills at the school’s newspaper.

She spent a high school year in the Pompano Beach High School in Florida, USA and became fluent in English, but she speaks German as well.

 

She is deeply involved in charity: she is a member of several non-profit organisations and volunteers on a regular basis at various charity events.​

WHAT BRINGS HER

TO ESOF 2016?

"I hope, ESOF encourages me to consider different perspectives and solutions to become more open on my chosen topic, because this a big platform for the exchange of  information.

This forum is particularly useful to share ideas and build connections through which future research collaborations can be developed.”
