Péter

TÓTH

Péter is one of the youngest members of the team. Previously student of a Vocational School of Catering and Tourism (at an English-Hungarian bilingual major), he just started his university studies in law. His young age doesn’t discourage him to get involved in science: he already attends the public events of the Scientific Students' Associations. He takes an interest in public law, constitutional law and mostly human rights. The problems of misusing political apathy in democracy arouse his interest, so he would like to participate in the work of the Scientific Students' Association of Constitutional Law from the upcoming semester.

From his perspective the most interesting part of ESOF would be the numerous programmes that examine the social changes and technological changes which concerns the society and legal issues. He believes that the law must answer the changes of society and students should learn more about society and social movements during their legal studies, in order to be able to give answers to the challenges of the society.

Apart of his interest in science, society and law, Péter is active in the field of work already: he took up various student jobs throughout these years, among others he has been events host and services assistant or Office assistant at employers like the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry or the Ars Sacra Foundation.

Besides her other activities in the frame of the Science Plane project, she contributed to the edition of this webpage.

WHAT BRINGS HIM

TO ESOF 2016?

“ESOF, by showing the future and the further tendencies of society and social sciences, would definitely help me to be prescient and solve the problems and issues of law in a more efficient way”

“By learning more of the future of society I would be able to examine the future of the law and raise public awareness to the forthcoming challenges.”
